Do I pay the bill at the restaurant?

Everyone has his or her own opinion about who pays the bill at a restaurant, there is no right or wrong answer. Always offer to pay for your portion of the meal; it’s only fair. If your date insists on paying for your share, then state you’ll pay for the meal next time. This will help to get the ball rolling for arranging another date. If it’s a first date, splitting the bill is the best option. Never sit back and wait for your date to pay; you’ll come across as rude and they’ll feel like you’re taking advantage of them.

Far too many women have long pockets and short arms. They stand at the bar or counter, order their drink and act as if it is their right, and my duty, for me to pay. Then they wonder why I leave 'early' when the next round is due and they make no move to pay. Scroungers.

yes I believe it should be 50/50 on the first date but after that if I say to my date that I will pay for the meal then I will but if my date say she will then let my date do so 50/50 all the time that's the fairest way I think
