yabber - Happy 34 year old guy from Somerset

Hi, well what can I tell you? I am healthy. I love the water, swimming , diving just looking at it. I like to cook. I love to read. I consider myself intelligent. I am quite well travelled. I am looking to make friends and to meet people on here, and if I was to meet a very special person who knows what else. I am turned on by confidence in oneself, independence, motivation and most of all intelligence. I try to see the beauty in people not the faults and I believe everybody has at least one truly beautiful feature.
I like adventure, and to learn new things or to see new places, I would love to have somebody that I could create future memories with. I am not a great fan of TV but I enjoy a good movie from time to time. I do not like celebrity culture, it bores me to tears. I am in love with the world and the beauty , the wonder and the diversity it contains. I am usually at my happiest when I am out amongst nature and all it's glories. I do not practice any organised religion although I do try to uphold broadly Christian moral standards, (with a few exceptions!).
I am a pretty open minded person who enjoys seeing people free and happy, the greatest gift anybody could give me would be to see them smile and to know that I played some role in making that smile happen. I like children and animals. I guess that I like kind of old things, I would be more at home in a country cottage than a minimalist city apartment, (although I will settle for both!) I really take more of an interest in a person's heart and soul than I do in their outward appearance, but don't get me wrong, I can still appreciate beauty when I see it. I want to find someone who engages my mind and spirit, I love passion and spontaneity.
