I am time rich and comfortable financially, living in the South London area. I have the ambition to live in northern spain on the mediterranean coast for six weeks of the year in spring and six weeks in the autumn, when the place is at its most beautiful and least crowded. And in between I want to travel to other countries for adventure, places like Morocco, Argentina, East Asia. A financially independent man who is no longer a wage slave with whom I can be just friends initially and who might like to travel with me would be ideal. Cooking as a team in the kitchen and drinking wine at the same time Floyd style is a must, so he would be the type who really enjoys food and cooking, none of it preprepared, but sourced from local markets (the vegetables in Spain actually have a taste). As well as cooking, I enjoy just being on the beach having picnics, snorkelling and visiting unusual and interesting places, especially but not exclusively archaeological ones. I also love going to local restaurants often where the local people go and not the tourists and spending 3 hours there drinking and talking over lunch without spending a fortune like here in the UK, what could be more pleasant, especially if the weather is not good. It would be great if the man I meet could speak another language, even haltingly, such as French or Spanish, but I guess that is not essential. My languages are French, German and Swedish, hardly any Spanish or Catalan, although I can get by in a spanish restaurant with my dictionaries. I love intelligent conversation and debate about politics, philosopy, current affairs, law (of course), food and wine (of course), music. The man I am looking for will be unorthodox and fun, more so than me as I have a tendency to backslide into middle class materialism at times.
