I'm a widow looking for that someone special to to share a meal, walk on the beach, hobbies and interests, a laugh, a film and see where the friendship leads.
I have bluey grey eyes, my blonde hair is turning a bit grey and I have put on a few pounds around the middle but I'm still active and work at keeping my weight under control. I am most comfortable when in jeans and a favourite sweater although I am told I "scrub up" well.
I like to walk with my dog on the beach, enjoy cycling, wandering through woodland and I enjoy watching wild life. I enjoy visiting museums and art galleries and exploring old abbeys and castles. I also have a love of standing stones.
I like to laugh and do things on the spur of the moment. I have lots of hobbies, enjoy meeting people but don't like being crowded in. I will give most things a try before saying I don't like.
I'm a tidy, not fanatical about housework, iron when needed type of person. I love cooking for special occasions and enjoy growing my own vegetables . I'm not materialistic, don't enjoy shopping, not a great telly lover, I have strong views about the environment and am not interested in travelling abroad as I still want see many places in Great Britain.
I love animals, and would like to live on a smallholding one day, so it's quite important that the person I meet is an outdoor type.. If you like what you read please say hello.
