About me....

I like running to keep in shape, my appearance is important to me and keeping a good physique (as much as I can) is part of that, I'm competitive too and I raced in a half-marathon in May. I've finished restoring an older BMW I bought in January, I hope you like a big, beautiful fast car with full leather interior - heated seats to keep your bum warm in winter too! I'm along term winner at Internet poker, I study the game from time to time and I'm part of the on-line community that discusses how to win.
I have a career path and currently I'm changing jobs and taking some IT exams so we'll have to see where I end up, I work in Information Technology as a contractor - but for me that's part of life's adventure. Just for the record I have my own house and I'm solvent so I'm not looking to be anyone's lodger!
Music is important to me and the types I like are, the 80's classics they send you right back don't they? I like a bit of dance (Trance) music but I'm not really a clubber these days more a pub man - expert pub goer btw ;-) I also like listening to an Irish band with a few pints of Guiness inside me and another in my hand!

About my date...

I'm looking for a lady perhaps a little younger than me, around 5" 5' and a non-smoker. For practical purposes I think we'd have to fairly local to each other but I'm willing to travel a little bit both for the initial meeting and if we decided to make a go of it. I find an intelligent lady an attractive lady and I would like my date to be a friend as well. Initially I would like to go dating and see what happens, I would like to think I'm good company and I can hold a conversation. If you took the time to get to know me, you would find I'm quite funny and could make you laugh, I tend to be tactile.

If you had a preference for particular times or location because of commitments your end that's fine, I only have a few ties my end so we would more than likely be able to meet when its good for you.
