Peter3 - Let's be friends

Thank you for looking at my profile. I live to the north of London.
I'd like to think that I had a good sense of humour, but somebody that can be serious too, that is optimistic and likes to see the best in people (often disappointed, of course - LOL), that is happy in his own skin but lacking a female's company. I'm tactile and love a cuddle.
My interests are many and varied but include music, art, history and science. I love London and all it offers, but would also like to consider living in Spain or France, but this is not essential. My ideal partner would be somebody also with wide ranging interests which we could share.
So, I'm looking for a lady friend/companion about my own age to share life's up and downs - hopefully more "ups" than "downs", an optimist, like me, somebody who is comfortable in a dress or jeans. I'm solvent and would expect her to be so too.
