Hi!
What can I say about me to make me sound appealing, lol. I'll just go for honesty I think.
Well I've recently seperated from my wife by mutual agreement, about 3 months. We're still friends but no plans to re-kindle. My youngest daughter (age 20) still lives with me and we have a dog and lots of pet birds in aviary.
I'm looking for friendship with a person of similar interests, if this leads to a relationship then fine, if not, fine also, what's wrong with being friends?
What are my interests?
I enjoy walks in the countryside with or without the dog, cooking, gardening, days out and I've recently taken to drawing pictures (only two completed so far; but I hope to expand on that).
Other things: I am what I like to call 'between jobs' at present (my last job ended in May this year when I politely told my area manager to put the job somewhere rather uncomfortable). I'm enjoying the freedom at the moment. I drink lots of tea and coffee, and rarely bother with alcohol, I don't do drugs but I do unfortunately for some have one vice, I smoke but only tobacco, nothing illegal.
I like using my PC and internet and run a website and 8 blogsites (keeps me busy). I am a genuine fella and know how to behave like a gentleman (if it's absolutely necessary), but prefer to be myself; trying to explain good personality can be somewhat difficult as people have their own opinions and I think it best for people I meet to make their own mind up about me. I can give and take a joke as well as anyone, but I have broad shoulders and try not to get offended, everybody is entitled to their own opinion.
I try and have respect for myself and all others, including animals, nature and everything else. I don't drop litter and swear only occasionally. I rarely watch TV and if I do it's usually a wildlife documentary or a good movie.
I don't need anyone to cook for me, wash or iron my clothes, or do the housework; I'm more than capable of doing all these things myself and indeed do so all the time.
What I really need: The good company of a friend who shares my interests and hopefully lives fairly local to Sutton-in-Ashfield, but I do drive so a few miles makes no difference.
Sorry, once I start going on I have trouble deciding when to stop.
So tell me a bit about yourself. Please!
Thanks!
