I am pretty easy-going, in fact my friends say that if I was any more laid back, I'd be comatose. Although I feel uncomfortable around gay men, I try to have no prejudice, other than against prejudiced people.
I am not politically correct which has been known to get me in trouble. You see, I have a habit of calling a spade a spade. For Heavens sake, it's a blackboard not a chalkboard !! I am the original 'foot in mouth'. I tend to say what I think without thinking about what I'm saying. Does that make sense?
I love the environment but am not a tree hugger. I have two mischevious cats. My musical tastes vary from Beethoven to ZZ Top but I generally prefer Ralph McTell, Lindisfarne and Barclay James Harvest. I play the guitar and piano, enjoy watercolour painting and am writing my first novel. I have also written a series of childrens stories. I also enjoy riding my bike, a 30 year old Kawasaki, I love to ride to the Lakes, Peak District, North Wales and Yorkshire Dales. I'm looking forward to Summer when I can get my hands on a tent etc and just go ......
Some say I look better without the face fungus, make up your own mind about that. I put on a couple of stone after packing in smoking a few years ago but I would never go back.
My favourite possessions must be my bike and my guitar. Could you cope with me?
