I’ve come here without any clear preconceptions... I’m happy just to talk and meet new people for now, see how things go. It would be nice to make a friend or two… and if I were to meet somebody with whom I really clicked, that would be nicer.

I’m active but not full on; quiet but engaging; fairly laid back in manner. I'm not very materialistic and I’d say sincere rather than serious. So what do I want out of life, you ask? Well, nothing, I already have it – life… and it can only be lived. Aspirations, ambitions? Some. But it’s easy to get caught up in the future… and forget the present.

As for interests etc, I'm interested in all sorts, pretty much everything in one way or another. Bars, restaurants, cinema, theatre… museums, galleries, staying in… whatever, variety is good. Aside from urban living, I love to spend time out in the countryside; walking, hiking, jogging, taking photographs. I read a fair bit, mostly non-fictional stuff; science, history, theology, eastern and western philosophy, that kind of thing. Family and friends play quite a big part in my life too.

If you’re looking for someone who is ‘driven’, ‘successful’, extrovert, lives life in the fast lane you’re probably better off looking elsewhere. Otherwise...
