Annawheeze - Hi, nice to meet you!

I am gentle and kind, fair and firm (or stubborn if rubbed up the wrong way). I can be reasoned with but I hate to be told! I' quite nice looking, grey/blue eyes, small nose, shoulder length brown hair, all my own teeth which I show off with a very big smile. I'm loosing weight at the moment and I'm a big size 14 (giving me about a stone to loose before I'm done). I have excellent taste buds which is what got me into trouble in the first place. I am serious on the one hand but I have a daft/dry sense of humour when it’s unleashed. I like just about everything except juggling and Karaoke (probably because I am pathetic at both). I can't play games or sports and was always picked last at school, but probably didn't try that hard to improve either. I like nature, being in it and painting it (except when it rains then I'm staying in the car). I love the sea best as it seems to improve any mood I'm in. I've put that I'm spiritual in my profile, but I don't want to give the impression I'm some floaty sort that's all new age. I've got talents in that area but I don't fit in with the crowd who are involved with that sort of thing as I'm a bit more ordinary in my persona. I love reading, writing, trash telly and making mess with art work (this can seem cute to begin with but if I'm in the zone there's no distracting me and it has got on some peoples nerves in the past). I am a socially minded person, and currently work at a temporary accommodation unit for the homeless. I've learned to drive, but failed my test and hope to finish that off soon. If you haven't worked it out already I ramble on tangents if no one else says anything. I come from a small family and have no siblings, though I have a friend who I think of as my brother. I'm dyslexic, but I'm good at writing text, but I hate writing profiles like these and anything positive sounds like hard sell, and anything negative sounds scary. I did Art & English at Uni and did quite well until I left and I got jobs in unrelated work such as admin and traffic surveys. I am all set to flourish in my 40s and intend to make up for the lost years on the hamster wheel! I am romantic, but not in a commercial sense. I am tactile, love cuddling and kissing but only with someone I am committed too. I like life, and all it's twists and turns and I have a positive outlook on things. I want to share my time with someone who is open and honest but also realistic about me and themselves.
