Responding to contact requests

Today I decided to respond to the contact requests I received. I feel a little bad as I received some of them when I first joined the site, but I concentrated so much on the responses I had from my contact requests that I didn't reply. There were a few blokes who I really liked and I responded to. I do admit that there were a few I didn't respond to as I really didn't like them. I just didn't know what to put. I'm in a dilemma, do I ignore the ones I don't like or do I send a message saying I'm not interested? How can I politely say "Thanks but no thanks" without hurting their feelings, or what if they get angry with me? For all I know they may not care at all and in that case I'm getting worked up over nothing. I'll think some more about that one.

Hi Jessica

Everyone is different. Personally, I find it harder if I get no response at all, I tend to have more respect for those that will bother to respond.
