Writing in the forums

The Completely Free Dating Forums allow you to discuss topics of your choice freely at your convenience.

General Advice

All we ask is that you discuss topics in a civil manner and do not make personal attacks on other members. If you do not agree with what other members have written, please do not start a nasty debate. Simply put your views across in a polite way. You are entitled to your opinion and other's are entitled to theirs and no one is trying to change that, but try to remember it is your opinion and there is not necessarily a right or wrong answer. Try to appreciate other people's opinions and attitudes in a way you would like others to understand yours. Remember that what ever you think about a particular topic, there is always going to be someone who disagrees with you.

Some people enjoy a good debate and are always willing to disagree with you whether it is their honest opinion or not. It is your choice whether you wish to argue your point across, but sometimes the original topic can be forgotten amongst the debate, so whenever you are in the middle of a heated discussion try to remember the reason you are there.

What to write about

The forums here at Completely Free Dating is not just for dating and relationship topics. You can discuss anything you like. If you have had a bad day, why not get it off your chest and tell people about it, or if you feel like discussing theatre or travel why not share your interests with others. You may end up making some good forum buddies along the way.

What ever you choose to write about, please don't be offended or put off if others don't share your enthusiasm. Many people just enjoy reading people's views in the forum and choose not to take part, which is down to each individual. If you are unsure about what to write in the forum, but you would like to join in, then why not just share your favourite joke, film, song or even recipe.

Unacceptable Forum Behaviour

Aim to keep discussions as friendly as possible. If a discussion turns nasty and you don't feel comfortable continuing with it, stop posting messages in that particular discussion. You are on the forum to chat, not to be verbally abused. If you use abusive or insulting words towards another, you risk your profile being removed from the site.

The forum discussions here at Completely Free Dating are monitored daily and we try to deal with any issues as soon as possible. If another member has personally insulted you, then please report them to abuse@completelyfreedating.co.uk.
